Or how does a trip to Härmä Spa, where you can relax in warm pools and enjoy the variety of sports activities, sound to you? In addition, there is the Ähtäri Zoo, home to more than 50 diverse species of animals from Finland and other regions of the world, such as pandas, bears and snow leopards to name a few. Keskinen Village Shop and shopping centre Ideapark Seinäjoki offer shopping facilities and entertainment for the whole family, not forgetting delicious dining options and comfortable accommodation.
Experience all our destinations or pick the ones that best suit your family. You can travel to close to Ideapark Seinäjoki, Ähtäri Zoo and Keskinen by train. In the summer, the train stops near PowerPark with a free bus connection to the park.
Ähtäri Zoo
Ähtäri Zoo is known for its pandas and bears, but there are many other exciting species as well. The zoo's natural environment is home to more than 50 different species, including wolves, wolverines, lynxes, and endangered animals such as pandas, snow leopards and takin. The zoo's easy-to-follow trails are surrounded by beautiful nature. The farm animal area Farmi is the favorite of many children, big and small. Here you can pet animals, play, and learn about the life on a Finnish farm. Hotel Mesikämmen and the campsite are located just a short walk from the entrance to the zoo.
PowerPark
Funland PowerPark is the largest and most extraordinary leisure centre in Finland. In this fairytale-like amusement park, you can go from an American Wild West atmosphere all the way to a Tyrolean setting, and from there to a small Italian town alley. The points of pride of the park are the Finland's largest wooden roller coaster, Thunderbird, and the most thrilling roller coaster in Northern Europe, Junker. There are restaurants and cafés within the amusement park, as well as a shopping street, where you can take a break from all the spinning and swinging. PowerPark has over 40 exciting rides, 8 of which are roller coasters. The amazing range of accommodation options, including hotel, apartment hotel, cottages and campsites, are directly adjacent to the amusement park.
Keskisen Kyläkauppa
Keskisen Kyläkauppa, Keskinen Village Shop, is the largest department store in Finland and the most popular tourist destination with over 6 million visitors each year. Keskinen is all about keeping children happy and there is something for all ages to do. The outdoor Moomin playground outside of the village shop is open all year round and is free of charge. During the summer season, Miljoona Tivoli funfair offers a wide range of attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Riemu Park inside the Village Shop is Finland's largest free indoor adventure park for children under 10 years old. In the village shop's own hotel, OnnenTähti, your family can experience a truly royal stay. The year-round caravan area Onnela locates in an idyllic spot on the banks of the Tuurinjoki river.
Ideapark Seinäjoki
Ideapark Seinäjoki, one of the largest shopping centres in Finland, is a modern-day entertainment and shopping destination in the heart of Seinäjoki. It has more than 100 shops with plenty of variety. Ideapark Seinäjoki has its own indoor activity park and entertainment centre with cosmic bowling, mini-golf, and escape rooms. Ideapark has the largest selection of restaurants and cafés in the region. During the summer, the Huvipark funfair is built next to the shopping center, providing fun-filled activities for families to enjoy. Ideapark Seinäjoki also offers a caravan area with fifty caravan spots.
Härmä Spa
There is something for everyone at Härmä Spa: the delights of the spa pools, spa treatments, physical activities, and excellent food. There are several different nature trails and routes around the spa building, where you can explore the surrounding area and enjoy the peace and quiet of the nature. The 9-hole course at Härmä Golf & Academy invites you to return time and time again for a round of golf. Indoor sports activities can be enjoyed in the multifunctional Anssin Jussin Arena. Pampering treatments are available from both cosmetologists and massage therapists. At the spa hotel, the family rooms are designed so that the children can have a separate room for themselves, and the parents can enjoy their own room.
